Registration

For the Sediment-Water Interactions Summer School 2025 held in Wimereux, from the 23rd to the 27th of June 2025, the maximal number of participants is set to 30 students. Acceptance on a first-come, first-served basis.

Registration has to be done in two steps :

  1. Send your Curriculum Vitae (.pdf file preferably) and a short motivation letter in english (following the templates here (1000 characters max. including spaces)) to iasws2025univ-lillefr. Please clearly mention if you wish to attend the 16th IASWS meeting after the Summer School and give references (title/authors) of the submitted summary. The scientific committee will regularly meet and select candidates. (Please mention if friendship between participants, co-workers, co-travels, car-pool...).
     
  2. Selected participants will be sent an acceptation E-mail, as well as a link to the dedicated website for payment of the final registration to the Sediment-Water Interactions Summer School 2025 + the 16th IASWS symposium in Le Touquet. Upon payment of the final registration, each participant will be sent a confirmation E-mail.

Registration fee :

For the Sediment-Water Interactions Summer School 2025 (alone) held in Wimereux, from the 23rd to the 27th of June 2025, the registration fee is :

For early registration (before the 15th of April 2025) :

  1. 250 € for PhD students, Post-Doctoral young researchers *
  2. 350 € for permanent researchers (confirmed researchers)

For late registration (after the 15th of April 2025) :

  1. 300 € for PhD students, Post-Doctoral young researchers *
  2. 400 € for permanent researchers (confirmed researchers)

For the Sediment-Water Interactions Summer School 2025 held in Wimereux, from the 23rd to the 27th of June 2025, AND the 16th IASWS symposium in Le Touquet, from 30th of June to the 04th of July 2025, the registration fee is :

For early registration (before the 15th of April 2025) :

  1. 400 € for PhD students, Post-Doctoral young researchers *
  2. 600 € for permanent researchers (confirmed researchers)

For late registration (after the 15th of April 2025) :

  1. 500 € for PhD students, Post-Doctoral young researchers *
  2. 700 € for permanent researchers (confirmed researchers)

*Upon presentation of document. Specific fee applies to PhD and Post-Doc who have a valid proof at the time of registration payment. Proof of status must be uploaded at the time of registration.

 

Note : Payments must be received by the corresponding deadlines (early or late), otherwise the subsequent rate will automatically apply.

 

The Sediment-Water Interactions Summer School full registration fees include :

  • Transfers from the Boulogne-sur-Mer or Calais railway stations for specific arrival hours only on Sunday afternoon 22nd of June.
  • A welcome cocktail
  • Accommodation in collective mobil-homes (3 to 6 participants per mobil-home) for the whole duration of the Summer School (arrival on 22nd June 2023 in the afternoon, departure on 28th of June in the morning)
  • 5 Breakfasts at the Marine Station of Wimereux (23 to 27 June 2025)
  • 5 Lunches (23rd to 27th June 2025) at the Marine Station of Wimereux or packed meals for field and Lille days (24th & 26th June2025) - Vegetarian meals available upon request
  • Coffee/tea breaks with refreshments
  • One Gala dinner
  • Field trip to the Canche estuary for discovery, field measurements and samplings
  • Bus transfer to Lille for the dedicated day (see schedule)
  • Bus transfer from Wimereux to Le Touquet on Saturday afternoon 28th June.

 

The 16th IASWS symposium full registration fees include :

  • A welcome cocktail
  • 5 Lunches at the Conference Centre (30th June to 04th July 2025) - Vegetarian meals available upon request
  • Coffee/tea breaks with refreshments
  • One Gala dinner on Wednesday evening
  • Field trip on Wednesday afternoon
  • Bus transfer from the Etaples-sur-Mer railway station for specific arrival hours only on Sunday afternoon 29h of June (not needed for Summer School + IASWS attendees).
  • Membership of IASWS until the next meeting (2028)
